Destination Brasil: Innesco appointed on Golden Square, Sao Paulo

Innesco has been appointed by Squarestone Brasil as international marketing consultants to the 31,000 sq m premium Golden Square mall in the San Bernando region of the city. The campaign is set to target retail and leisure operators from around the globe looking to establish their successful and premium brands in this fast-growing economy. The first element of the campaign will be a rebrand for the project to reflect the elegance of the scheme, followed quickly by a short teaser movie to be distributed on a credit-card USB by the leasing team in June ahead of the August recess. Brochures in both English and Portuguese being distributed in October, ahead of MAPIC.

Opening in November 2012, the new shopping center will target the affluent ‘A’ and ‘B’ class consumer market and is designed and built to exceed international shopping mall standards. Golden Square will be a 31,000 sq m mall, with eight anchors stores, 12 megastores, and 250 medium and small stores over 3 floors – among them national and international retailers. There will also be a six-screen movie theatre, and 1,700 parking spaces. Leasing for the centre is already well underway, with retailer announcements to be made over the next few months. Innesco has a full service mandate on the scheme.
