Goodbye Spitalfields, Hello Holborn!Digital Manager
Having had no previous experience of moving offices, the scale of the task and the challenge of minimising the disruption which can be created by a move like this, was new to me. Moving expensive IT equipment, important documents and personal possessions amongst a myriad of other items, and then ensuring these items arrived at the new property unscathed and in order, required great organisation, team work and effort from everyone.
Fortunately, despite the enormity of the task, the move has been successfully (and relatively smoothly) completed, with Innesco leaving the historic Fruit & Wool Exchange, which had been the company’s home for three years.
Built in 1929 and located next to the famous Spitalfields market in the East of London, it was with a slight sadness that the company said goodbye to this historic building, which was Innesco’s second home, particularly due to the controversial redevelopment which sees only the façade of the property remain unscathed in a major retail and office redevelopment.
Despite this, the move is extremely exciting for Innesco, signalling the progress and growth of the company in its three years of business.
The new office, located on Lamb’s Conduit Street in Holborn, has over twice the floor space of the old office, and offers a bright, airy and modern working environment. The new location also offers new benefits to Innesco’s staff, with better accessibility to the city, as well as the culinary, retail and other lifestyle benefits that come with being located in one of London’s most affluent areas.
Please come and see for yourselves at our new headquarters!
