NWEC CEO Jace Tyrrell will be speaking on a panel and a keynote session during the day, covering “Smart Cities” and Placemaking – demonstrating London’s leading role in the global retail property stage.
At 11am, Jace will be speaking specifically about how evolving tech and innovations can support city centres to remain competitive and what impact does it have on urban governance, innovations & challenges in the city centre of London. He will also talk about NWEC’s 2020 vision for the West End. He will be joined by Lisette van Doorn, CEO ULI Europe.
Meanwhile, Prof. Jan Peter Balkenende, a partner with EY, will be opening the 12th annual PROVADA exhibition in the central hall earlier at 10.00 a.m. He will be taking a closer look at the main theme of PROVADA 2016 – The Next Step.
The exhibition programme is based on three themes, one for each day: smart cities, game changers and business innovation, with plenty of scope for topics like mega trends in real estate, the circular city, listed buildings as new investments, housing for refugees, healthcare property and much more.
