Insights from the Nordic Real Estate ForumDigital Editor
This week, our Founder and Managing Director Dan Innes travelled to Tallinn, Estonia to speak at the Nordic Real Estate Forum 2022.
Speaking on a panel, Dan discussed what the currently outlook for the real estate sector is in the region in 2022: “In an increasingly connected, post-covid world, quality of life is simply non-negotiable.”
For over 18 years, the Nordic Real Estate Conference has been the largest real estate conference in the Baltics. During this time, the conference has had more than 5000 people in attendance and over 525 speakers from over fifteen countries.
The main topic at the Nordic Real Estate Forum 2022 was to discuss challenges and opportunities in the modern real estate sector. Speaking to this topic, Dan Innes discussed how commercial real estate, like hybrid retail, needs to compete for the consumers’ time.
Service providers need to work together to leverage big data processing and act upon performance data (data driven leases, etc.), that automate due diligence processes, that will prevail in the next ten years.
The Nordic Real Estate Forum has become the leading real estate forum in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the forum this year has built a hybrid model – broadcasting Keynote Speakers and discussion panels online for those who were not able to travel to Tallinn.
The forum was held at The Creative Hub, one of the most unique creative and event spaces in Northern Europe. The interior of the industrial complex has inspired legendary film-maker Andrei Tarkovski, impressed German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and enchanted hundreds of visitors.
