The challenge

XPROP is a specialist real estate advisory focused on the out-of-town retail and alternatives sector. Innesco was appointed at founder stage - a clean-sheet start following the partners' departure from an established platform. The founding team needed to establish legal, reputational and commercial separation from their previous firm, articulate a differentiated proposition in a crowded advisory market, launch with immediate credibility among investors, occupiers, agents and media, and avoid reputational risk during a sensitive transition period.

Why it mattered commercially

Launching a new advisory in a high-trust market is as much about risk management as it is about visibility.
